Chef Mel shares how to add personality to a boring old tin of tuna

Chef Mel shares her signature recipe on how we can transform a humble tin of tuna.

If you get stuck with a boring old tin of tuna for lunch , especially if someone is joining you then you have to learn how to give the tuna more personality and flavour.

There is nothing wrong with tinned tuna, it is very good for you, but it doesn’t sound very appealing. Here’s how to fix that.

Add personality to tinned tuna by using Chef Mel’s hacks

  • Add crunchy onion to tinned tuna for valuable crunch and personality

  • Add diced pear or apple or carrot or capsicum if you prefer.

  • Keep everything in small chunks.

  • Dress with plain yogurt or mayo…then add some sexy cracked black pepper to pimp it up.

  • Can also add dried powdered mushroom or grainy/dijon mustard to make it a bit more fancy..

  • You can also serve on lettuce or rocket to give it a sexy base.

  • Use Chef Mel’s signature pepper mayo drizzle hack to finish it off by presenting it beautifully on the plate

  • Your tinned tuna will reach new culinary heights

This idea is so awesome that American Airlines has this epidsode on their inflight entertainment system!

Enjoy!
